i wanted to learn to crochet and had no experience at all, this book was my beginner lesson and it served very well. it helped me get started. it covers all the basics. there are some stitiches i wish there were more pictures, and i'm still not sure i can understand the crochet short-hand instructions enough to do all the projects described in the book.

This is a great book for those just beginning the craft . This is also a good reference for others. I am a beginner and I really enjoyed it. It was written in plain english and the projects are cute and different. I really like this book!
