excellent book
I had heard a lot about this book years ago but finally got around to reading it. It is an incredible story about a woman whose husband kidnaps her and her daughter and takes them to Iran permanently. The husband (who grew up in Iran) occasionally behaved strangely, but does manage to convince his wife it is for a two week vacation to visit family.. His personality changes radically once they reach Iran and he becomes abusive. She finally escapes back to the US with her daughter with the help of strangers. An amazing story. Hard to believe it is true!
