  • Indispensable Resource!

This book contains all the information novices and experts alike need to successfully garden in the northeast. I am new to gardening and live on an island which poses some challenges for gardening. The book outlines with pictures and written explanations how to do everything from composting, to selecting an appropriate space--in the ground or in containers--to starting from seed, harvesting, fertilizing, pest identification and control, etc., pertaining specifically to your particular area of the Northeast. With this book I feel confident I can grow healthy organic vegetables at home, and so far so good! I highly recommend this book.
