If you are at all concerned about what you put into your body, this is a must read book. It doesn't mean you have to become a vegan, but you will be more informed and careful about choosing to consume meat/poultry/ fish products without all those awful food additives, hormones and chemicals. I find I eat a lot less meat (even the good kind) and more organic fruits and vegetables after reading this book even though I was headed in that direction before. You must read labels and be an informed consumer. I've also given this book to several friends. When a commercial rancher goes vegan, there must be some real reasons you can trust. LaKat
