Wii isn't a stranger to most people. And I'd of course played Wii before I even bought the system. So it came with no surprise - easy to use and advance tech specs in gaming and lots of fun! I'd recommend it to everyone (although I think most people already have a Wii game system).
I am an avid non-video game player. I've owned every system from the first Nintendo to the latest X-box and have tired of them all within a couple of months. I admit when it comes to video games I have an attention span of a fruit fly. I'm so bad that when I told my husband I wanted a Wii he said, "Why? You'll play it twice and never touch it again." But I can honestly say it's different with the Wii. I love how interactive it is. It's a totally different experience than ALL THE OTHER gaming systems out there. Wii makes you use your whole body, not just your thumbs and wrists. Wii Sports comes with games that I hate to play in reality (tennis, golf, bowling...every game on the disk). But I LOVE playing these sports on the game. The boxing game is a work out on it's own. I have to play golf afterward just to calm down. It's awesome!
My only regret is waiting so long to get one! This is so much more fun to play than PS2, etc. We even got our neighbors in their 80s to play the bowling & a lot of other games - this system truly is accessible to all ages!
