I bought this for my grandson. He got his first one when he was 4. He is very techno savvy. His last one was dropped a couple of times so I bought him this new Crimson/Black one and he is so happy and so am I! I also bought him the silicone skin for it to keep it safer and from being scratched.I am so pleased with the performance of this product and I say "cudos" to Overstock as I have been with them about seven years and I have never had to return anything.This is a great investment. Kids learn motor skills, eye coordination, and how to improve their reading and problem solving skills. Terrific, product!

Bought two of these for my twin boys for Christmas, they are 7. They love them, so does my husband. It's a great toy/electronics for any age.

This little system packs a mean punch when it comes to value ad playability. It would be nicer if it was cheaper but so would many other things.

I like the color, the look, and the function of the Nintendo DS Crimson. I love the new Brain Age 2 and was anxiously looking for more software to improve my aging brain, not much available but children's games (thank you, no, not interested) and the orginal Brain Age, but will hope that Nintendo comes out with more! Improving your brain sure beats dulling it with TV! Of course, TV does have its place!!! :) I love the product

This is a great toy! My three kids 6, 8 and 10, can all use it and play everything from just fun games to educational games. They talk to friends with Pictochat and I can use it to stengthen my brain!! We were told by a doctor that this is a good tool to use with people developing Alzheimers, an activity disc called Brain Age. The crimson color of this particular DS is a brillant, metallic red and is very pretty or very cool is you are dealing with boys. The dual screens are a little tough at first for the younger kids to get used to but once they do they lock in and go for it! We also like that the GameBoy cartridges can be used with the DS. A great toy for kids who just keep growing up.

I bought this item for my father with the Brain Age I game. He said that it really works his brain and he can't put his new DS down. It works great and came very quickly.

Everything as expected. This is the second ds I've purchased. The first survived being kicked across a parking lot and being abused in anger. I had to replace the top screen, and the instructions were a bit sketchy so I damaged the connector for the touch screen; even with that it worked for about three more months. Kudos to Overstock; delivery was fantastic.
