Overall I am pretty happy with this product. But the first thing to remember is that it is not a game, it isn't supposed to be fun. It is supposed to help you learn Chinese. It has several different functions that quiz you on vocabulary, writing Chinese Characters and tones. But you can't control which words appear on the vocab list. And it really doesn't help with grammar. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

This DS game is great for anyone wanting to use their extra time productively to learn another language. The only thing sad about overstock.com is that I miss the old overstock.com commercial woman.

I bought this for my husband for christmas (along with the Japanese coach). He loves it. He is an avid reader and speaks several languages. He found this software helpful in the learning process.
