NinDS - Fossil Fighters

I have intended to buy this game for my son for a couple of months now, and was very pleased to find it here for less than the MSRP (and if you buy video games regularly, you'll know that NEVER happens.) We played a trial demo version on our DS that was available via our Wii. It's an excellent game for kids, and fun for adults too. It's age appropriate for my 6 year old son, but not childish and would be perfect for older children as well. He wants to be an archeologist when he grows up, and this is perfect to indulge his love of dinosaurs. He can hunt out dinosaur bones buried in the ground, use various tools that an archeologist would use in excavation and then assemble the bones into a complete dinosaur that he can then battle with. The various tools require different actions, like blowing in the DS to clear away debris while cleaning, and using different pressure to avoid damage while excavating the bones. I like that this isn't a violent game overall, most of the game play involves finding and then excavating the bones. And the graphics are really good for a hand held gaming console.
