This cute cooking game uses the touchscreen of the Nintendo DS to let you cook meals. Playing as a female chef, you have to prepare the food (slicing the vegetables, slicing the meat), then cook it on the stove. The kids got sick of it really fast. It is just not very fun.

Cooking mama

I bought this game for my five year old daughter, but before long my wife and my 16 year old son were hooked on it. I recommend this game for kids and adults alike. Even if you cant cook you will have loads of fun with the different challanges thrown at you.

Nintendo DS COOKING MAMA

bunny00 from Portland, OR, Oct 19, 2006

This game is super fun. I really enjoy playing it but it does easily get old. It's fun mixing and cutting food on your DS. You can only use the stylus and it isn't very hard to pass the levels. They add new foods, but after a while it seems like there aren't any new food coming. I think for younger children learning how to cook it would be much better than for adults. There is a very challenging area where you race yourself to try to beat everything. Again, it's fun...but easy to set aside and forget about.
