Nintendo 3DS is a breakthrough in portable entertainment, a truly cutting-edge piece of hardware. It has to be seen to be believed. Nintendo 3DS includes two screens. The bottom touch screen makes use of a telescoping stylus that is stored in the unit itself. The top screen displays 3D visuals to the naked eye. Looking at the screen is like peering through a window into a world where characters and objects have true depth. The system also has a 3D Depth Slider that lets players select the level of 3D they enjoy the most. The 3D effect can be ratcheted up to the highest level, scaled back to a more moderate setting or even turned off completely, depending on the preference of the user.
In addition to the familiar + Control Pad and button controls found on previous Nintendo hand-helds, Nintendo 3DS now also includes a Circle Pad, which provides a full 360 degrees of direction, giving it the freedom and precision needed to play games in 3D worlds. It brings the same degree of responsiveness that gamers enjoyed when Nintendo introduced an analog control stick to navigate Mario through Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 system.

This console was purchase for a grand son. He has not encountered a problem with the console. He has had it for months nowand the fact that he is still using it responsibly is a plus for me and the quality of the product.

- How accurate was the on site description of the product? The description of the console was the same when it arrived as it was described on-line. The color was what my grandson wanted.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the console is great in that he is still using it and so far nothing has gone wrong with it since it arrived.

I brought this Nintendo DS for my little brother. It was his favorite gift on his birthday. It keeps him busy and quiet so i hear from my parents. I am going to purchase another one for my other siblings. Great Buy!!

Great gift for any kid.
This was a birthday gift for my 6 yr. old Grandson. He requested it & knew he was getting it, so, as a result, it was the very first gift he wanted to open. He was thrilled to finally have it in his hands. He ran over to me & Grandma got an ear to ear smile & big hug. He loved it ! It would be a big hit with any kid & I definitely recommend it.

Just average ....
My son is ten. We have all the game systems ... xBox, Wii, plus several hand held systems etc. We considered getting my son a Kindle Fire instead but decided to go for the NinDS3D ... BIG mistake. He can't do all the things he wanted to do with the 3D that he could do with the other Nintendo system. He now fights over his sister's Kindle Fire. UGGGGGGGG ... some times one has to go with their first thought!
