At WNYX, New York's second-highest rated news radio station, a cast of strong and idiosyncratic personalities repeatedly clash--yet somehow manage to keep the station afloat. From clueless station owner Jimmy (Stephen Root), to high-strung news director Dave (Dave Foley), to high-maintenance anchor team Bill and Catherine (Phil Hartman and Khandi Alexander), to by-the-book producer Lisa (Maura Tierney), and beyond, this office of eccentrics provide a seemingly endless supply of comic situations throughout the series' 1995-1999 run on NBC. Phil Hartman's death led to the addition of funnyman Jon Lovitz (THE CRITIC) to the cast in its final season. Providing memorable support are comedians Andy Dick and Joe Rogan (FEAR FACTOR) as the office's bizarre, pratfalling klutz and the building's uncouth handyman, respectively. Included in this box set are all 97 of the series' episodes.

I am enjoying these tapes (dvds). I remember watching this program and was truly sad when it was no longer aired. To find it again is a treat. I purchased mine just in time as it looks like the price has gone up, but at either price it is worth purchasing. Dvds are of excellent quality and they arrived within a few days. Highly recommend this purchase.

Newsradio entire series
Very happy with this Newsradio dvd bundle. I have compared prices elsewhere and no one has it at a better price. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it does come in just a basic spindle which is a bummer if you want to put it on a shelf. We have decided to put the dvds into a cd binder to keep them from getting scratched. Overall, would highly recommend.
