Beautifully done, tugs at the heart of any romantic! Perfect for a lazy afternoon or girls' nite....curl up with a blanket and swoon with Jane Austen's heroines!

This is my 6th season of the show. The quality of British film is great and the actors are masters. Trevor Eve plays a inspector who is haunted by his own ghosts of the past and it add another layer to the show.

This is an early 1970's docudrama, with a fabulous performance by James Maxwell. Unfortunately there are many scenes where he is absent. The plot is slow and plodding and more detailed than even an Anglophile like myself can handle. Many minor characters to keep track of. Clearly by the time BBC produced THE SIX WIVES OF HENRY VIII, they had learned a lot.

This is the best buy I have found PBS is asking twice the amount for just one DVD here you get two. These are my favorite works by Jane Austin don't miss this offer. The BBC has done it again these are true to the book it makes you feel you were living in the pages of Jane's books. I can't say enough greatttttttttttttttttt!
