  • The best short stories series I have ever read!

After all these years of Sue Grafton entertaining her fans of Kinsey Millhone she has given us the rest of the story. And a glimpse into how the mind of the writer who created such a character was formed by what she did with the circumstances of her childhood. She was always a hero of mine because she gave women a dynamic leading character to look forward to knowing through the entire alphabet. Now I know like Kinsey and me she is also a survivor.

Blind Trust by Sandra Orchard Kate Adams finds herself in the middle of a two-bit counterfeiting ring when she is caught passing counterfeit bills from her elderly neighbor. Detective Tom Parker is sent yet again to investigate Kate. They fight a growing attraction as they try to prove her innocence and save her beloved neighbor from her greedy son. As if that was not enough she is being followed, a big corporation is endangering her research, she is falsely accused and being deceived. This is the first book I have read from author Sandra Orchard but it surly will not be the last. Blind Trust is book two in the Port Aster Secrets series. • Great Cozy Mystery, Good Characters & humor

This is a great cozy mystery. In my reading I have always felt that Librarians and cats go together. This book didn't disappoint. Add in a library on wheels (bookmobile) and the fun begins. Characters are well written and believable. Eddie the cat was definitely written by a cat lover who knows that "Cats have servants". The story plot was well done and kept me guessing as to who done it.

They trust their instincts as well as the evidence. Keeps me on edge to find out what happens next. I also really like the interaction between the the characters.
