What can I say? I loved the movie. Even some of the guys in the group liked it.

Rob  from Las Vegas, Nevada, Rating:5.0

Well, thanks to the many & varied technological advances made with regard to film reproduction, since this movie was originally released nearly a half-century ago, viewing AHDN now, is even more delightful than it originally was; Furthermore, the inclusion of 'bonus' features on this disc, as well as a very informative bibliographical insert, all add to making this 2013 version of AHDN a splendid package to own or gift... Enjoy!

  • A great movie with a Chinese flavor.

    Jan 2, 2013

landers92  from Los Angeles, California, Rating:5.0

This is a fun musical that is set in Chinatown near San Francisco. It is the old Chinese traditions set against the more laid-back American way of life. The children, of course, want the more laid-back way of life while their strict older parents would prefer that they follow their Chinese heritage instead. Who will win the struggle, and how will the others learn to live with it? A film very worth watching and the music is special and fun also.

  • Great movie! Will watch over and over

This is such a great musical, and for all family viewing. Really love the songs and the actors in it.

  • Best Cinderella ever

    Feb 10, 2015

    Pamela P. Rating:5.0

This Cinderella is my favorite version. Was formerly only available on VCR. Was happy to find it on DVD. The original recording has been enhanced digitally, and while the photography is old, for the times (1965) this was considered state of the art. Leslie Ann Warren plays a wonderful Cinderella and Stuart Damon as the Prince. Ginger Rogers and Walter Pidgeon as the Queen and King make for a great, entertaining movie. Though this movie is now 50 years old (unbelievable!) it's as enjoyable to watch as it was back then.
