mihcci from Southern California, Rating:5.0This is an excellent book for beginning guitarists who are interested in bluegrass. Intermediate players should look for more advanced books like the Tony Rice method or Steve Kaufman's books. I ordered the book thinking it was more advanced and wound up giving it to my nephew for whom it was very appropriate. I would recommend for novice players only.

1kennyb from Long Island, NY, Rating:5.0The author states in the introduction that this is not intended to be a Todd Rundgren biography but an in-depth look into Todd's studio productions. But, aside from the many technical and studio references, there are plenty of personal Todd facts that I hadn't read before. Overall, this is a "must have" item for Todd fans. Musicians who appreciate the recording, producing and engineering processes should also enjoy this book, even if they're not big Todd lovers.
