This was an excellent movie. One I will watch over and over again. The story line is very timely. The photogrophy was excellent. Really brought home what we are loosing by not paying attention to our planet. Denis Quaid was very good in his roll. The science was very easy to understand while very entertaining. Every one should watch this movie.

Although this was good, I don't know how many times I will watch it again, if ever. It was different and entertaining for a one time watch. But I'm just not sure I will be pulled in the direction to watch it again.

I have been a Boz fan for 30 years. This DVD not only reenergizes my favorite songs but the venue is perfect to feel a part of from your own home. The background vocals and band in top notch and BOZ's voice sounds better than the old days! Enjoy. High Class Entertainment!

If you like "Sabrina" I would recommend this collection. It's a great value to buy it all together. This is such a fun show to be able to watch whenever you want! There is a note on the back cover of each set put there by the manufacturer that says "some episodes may be edited from their original network versions. Some music has been changed for this home entertainment version." It has been a while since I watched the show on tv, but so far, I haven't noticed anything new or unusual. It is still just a fun show!

I first saw this movie by coincidence on cable. I had never heard of it before. It was very entertaining and many parts kept you guessing as to what was really the intentions of the main character played by Kirk Douglas. Kirk Douglas plays an eccentric millionaire trying to decide who should inherit his money and estate while he is still living because he fears he is losing his memory. His relatives are all phony and he knows it. Michael Fox plays his estranged nephew who is summoned by the other relatives to convince the old man to give his estate to them, however, the old guy decides to give it to the nephew and then the sparks really begin to fly. All the members of my family enjoyed this movie so much they all bought a copy for themselves. I highly recommend it!

Although the show had by then devolved from whimsical sitcom to preachy political statement, it still has its moments and is better written than most of what passes for entertainment on TV today. But besides its occasional preachiness, I was still disappointed that Fox did not include some behind-the-scenes footage such as blooper reels and interviews with the actors.

pg-13 level entertainment, just so you know. not of the spartacus ilke; limited blood gore and violence, no nudity, etc. much of the blood and violence that you do see is actually cgi. still, the story itself is compelling, informed by rich, well rounded, and colorful characterizations--ragnar and his family, the earl and his wife, ragnar's brother, the ship builder. they do a good job of building up the sense of a viking community; then they develop the concept by moving the vikings out to explore, rape, pillage, and conquer european lands. then they go back home again, and while they think about going back out to dog their neighbors, they work out conflicts on their own home territory--eating,drinking, singing, humping, working the fields, etc. its all done pretty well--but above all, and if you choose to see this series for nothing else--the cinematography is absoultely incredible. emmy award worthy..all in all, as i say, very entertaining, welll acted, scripted, and directed. i expected a bit more action, but was not disappointed by the story that is being developed instead. a worthy diversion, two thumbs up

This is a great product as the women of Hootersville entertain in that sweet almost Southern way. Demonstrating the many traits that women have to live a full life showing appreciation for the decision to stay home and raise children or to pursue a career. Hopefully, Overstock will eventually pick up the whole series of 222 episodes as found on the Ultimate DVD Shop.

This is a beautifully boxed set of all 12 Sherlock homes movies - just as we remember them when we were children - only better! The files have been lovingly restored and beautifully presented in the wonderful box set. The featured commentary on the difficulties of the restoration project itself is also very interesting. You'll have hours of fun watching Mr. Holmes and his beloved side-kick Watson chase down their nemesis Professor Moriarity and other sinister villains. Classic works such as "The Hounds of the Baskervilles" and the Scarlet Claw" are as entertaining now and look as good as the day they first were released. I'm thrilled own this set of fine films, and I'm sure any Sherlock Holms fan would be equally happy to have the entire collection at their disposal to view over and over again. Buy it!

Like the 1st reviewer, I saw this on VHS. It is a Classic. Showing different perspectives from the young boy, his teen-aged sister; Don Ameche's character; to the 'bounty-hunter's. What would it be like to have a huge, hairy, friendly and uneducated guest in your home? Knowing he/it cannot remain there - - you come up with plans to assist him with what his desires are for his future. Harry wants to be helpful as well. From my grandchildren to myself and ages, in between; my highest recommendation.

Of course, this story is speculative. I've heard many versions of how John and Paul got together in the mid 70s. "Two Of Us" is about what may have transpired when Paul dropped by John's home while he was visiting New York City, and what a day spent together (while Yoko is out of town) may have been like. This movie is very well done: the director also made the "Let It Be" film, so he was with The Beatles when they were at each other's throats. The acting is convincing; the two actors did their homework. I later found out from some people that had met Lennon in New York that he pretty much acted the way he is portrayed here. Recomended to Beatles fans.

I'm not going into plot details because I want to emphasize that this is an excellent movie for adults, kids, or with a significant other on a "stay at home" night. This is not a hard-core intellectual film, but a very charming and entertaining story perfectly suited for a relaxed night of viewing with a big bowl of popcorn. As an added bonus, the soundtrack matches the time period very well and adds to the background texture of the viewing experience. If taken for what it is, and not held up for comparison with deeply intellectual films, this is an extremely enjoyable film. For these reasons I've put this among my top 10 favorite films in my fairly large collection of DVDs.

Star Trek Voyager is my favorite of the Star Trek franchise. I think what appeals to me is that, unlike the other series that basically have them tooling around in their own little quadrant of the galaxy, Voyager is flung to an extraordinarily distant quadrant with little hope of getting back in their lifetime. The underlying mission of getting home along with the Star Trek standard fare gave more meaning to them being out there. The character of The Doctor was always entertaining, and once they brought in Seven-of-Nine and phased out Kes (never liked her) the series really took off, as she was easy on the eyes as well and very logical to complement the Vulcan Tuvok (the logical characters in all Star Trek were my favorites). The only disappointment with the DVD collection is the cheap cases. They are basically storybook style jewels in different colors held together with really strong tape. Voyager was never fully accepted in Trekdom, and this is reflected in the distributor spending the barest minimum on the collection.About the case, I had ordered all seasons individually over time from a "competitor" web site as they went on and off sale, and the case was always broken on #5. I asked if they could specifically inspect a copy before they send it, and they said no. After the fourth broken case (I think someone dropped the whole shipment at their warehouse), they told me that I would probably never be pleased and to go shop somewhere else! Gratefully, Overstock has their price matching program and was glad to do business with me. The copy is flawless.

Good Humphrey Bogart movie, He is Sam Spade the private eye.....has Peter Lorre and the Fat Man in it, good to see the whole movie from beginning to end, not like when it is shown on TV and so much is cut out of it. Also came with a Bette Davis earlier version of this story which I have not seen yet.

My son loves this DVD! I am so happy that overstock had it and that it was such a reasonable price. I am able to get the kitchen cleaned (as long as I sing along) while he is entertained by it. He is 5 months old and is really watching and moving with the DVD. I bought the helping at home one also I hope it is as entertaining for him.
