I am cracking up because I highly value reviews for items before buying, and I read and read until I get a good sense that the people writing positive reviews have similar preferences as I do and that the negatives are things that would not bother me, etc. I guess I had this leftover in my cart from some random shopping last Christmas, and I went ahead and left it there when I placed an order recently. I had NO IDEA how tiny this book was, so I obviously did not read the reviews before placing the order. I've given some Moosewood cooksbooks to my sister in the past and have always liked them, and thought this was an older edition or something at a bargain price. It's not...it's a tiny gift book. I was planning to keep it, but I will be sending it to my sister in Germany as a little (ha ha) addition to her Moosewood collection. Honestly, flipping through it, the recipes look really good. If nothing else, it makes a decent ornament for the Christmas tree if you are the type to have ornaments that show lifestyle and hobbies.
