I am upgrading from VB6 to .net and this book provides the information that I need. I have not yet read the whole book, but so far I am very pleased with the pace and precision of the writing. This book describes the Visual Studio user interface and gives enough basic examples that it would make a good first book, yet it also leads the reader deep enough into the concepts and language that it is also helpful to a skilled VB programmer as a review of the enhancements of the newer language. This book removed my fears of having to leave the comfort of VB6 and tred into the .net world of today.
