I enjoyed the book as it contains notations in Western and Indian languages. The book is a great resources for those who would like to learn tabla and get his or her feet wet. David has done an excellent job. He has brought to the table Engineer's logical approach (after all he is a software engineer by training) and a passion of a musician. He has learnt the music through extensive training and under the old, traditional Indian way of learning the music - hard work and a matching guidance from his Guru.
