  I purchased the book for my nieghbors' son who had a D in Geometry. After using the skills offered in the book his grade increased to a B. He continues to excel.

  I use this book in order to encourage my kids to think mathematically, in order to solve everyday problems and to help them in their school work. If you want to use it with kids, I recommend looking through the book first on your own and then using and teaching kids the mental math ideas one by one. It's fun and the kids enjoy being able to work calculations out in their head. A bit of work is involved but it's all fun but serves the purpose of encouraging kids to like math because it's practical. It's also useful for adults though. Highly Recommended.

  I am a college student, and I was having trouble with math. This book is very well written and the steps are easy to follow. I have never had algebra, statistics or number theory. After doing the problems in the book, I am now ready to take on my college math. I would recommend this book for anyone having trouble understanding math. I forgot to mention, I am 59 years young, and have been out of school for many years, I truly needed something to help me to understand the college math. I recommend this also for parents that need to help their children with their math.
