  • I hate these kinds of books!

    When reading the synopsis of this book, it sounded perfect....but it ends up being a disappointment. Not much useable information about the dehydration process of different foods. It's made up more of recipes using the dehydrated items. I am doing a lot of dehydrating right now, and I've not found any help in this particular book on "how to", "how long", etc.However, if you are a jerky lover -- you might like this book. Lots of recipes and info about jerky.

  • great book LONG delivery time

    The book is great! The author is obviously very knowledgeable about dehydrating, and she also includes some great looking recipes! The best thing about the book, is she tells you HOW to dehydrate anything you would/ could want to!!! Only bummer, it took FOREVER to get here!!! And since it was delivered by usps, there was no easy way of tracking it!!! Oh well, I guess it was worth the wait!
