This book was quite thought-provoking. I've been married 15 years with its ups & downs, and found this book fascinating. The stories told in this book are the sorts of things no one talks about in typical dinner conversations. The grass really isn't greener in your neighbors yard. I found it refreshing to read about others' struggles & trials in a "its not just me" sort of way. I don't agree with some of the lifestyle choices a few couples have made, but the author does a great job of presenting her subjects' point of view without bias. The author's job is to tell the story (and that's done well). Readers can then make their own judgement.
