This is one of the best books I have ever read. If you own a dog you will see yourself in it. Mr. Grogan is an excellent writer. His offering up of both the funny and the terribly sad times of his life makes you feel like his family are close friends. Everyone will love this book.

I wanted this book without paying the full price listed. I was able to find what I wanted, at a price I was happy with and received the order quickly.

Prior to purchasing, I had MANY friends and family say I had to read this book. It is one of the funniest books I have ever read. As a dog owner of 2 big dogs I can relate to many of the issues in the book. The price beat all the competitors.

WITHOUT QUESTION!! THE funniest, most poignant, loving and touching book I've read in years (maybe ever!). If you love dogs. . . GET THIS BOOK. . ASAP!!!

Be sure and have the kleenex box handy; I was in tears by the end of the book. For me, it was a healing process having recently lost my Sammi. If you're a dog person, you'll enjoy this book and if you aren't a dog person, I think you'll still enjoy it :)

This book was a bucket of chuckles page after page. Grogan's storytelling style is smooth and genuine... much like he's sitting right in your living room having story time! Anyone who has had a pet with even a bit of Marley's spirit will have memories stirred to smiles.

This book is wonderful. I have always been blessed to have dogs in my life. This author writes with humor and experience. I bought another copy of this book and mailed to my sister. Couldn't bear to part with my copy. I know I will re-read it again and again. I recommend it to dog lovers and those that may think they aren't , but read this and you will be.

I didn't want to put it down. If you are a dog person you will relate to most of the wackey things this dog and family go through. One minute you are laughing out loud and then he goes to a personal place that will bring a tear. I will be going through some of the harder things in the next few years with my own and he has already helped me to cope. It really was refreshing and a joy to read.

Grogan is an excellent writer. I felt as if I personally knew Marley. This book had me laughing and crying throughout. What a wonderful life!

I wanted this book for my 7 year old granddaughter. i thought it would be like the other Marley books. It was more like an older child or adult reading. She has just about all the Marley books. I thought this would be the same with illustrated pictures and words that she could read

I just LOVE this book. I'm reading it again and it's even better and funnier than the 1st read. Highly recommend this book to anyone. So well written and fun (ok, emotional too).

Marley and Me is a great book to read. I would recommended to everyone. This is a great story. Sadly it is what happens to anyone who has had any type of pet.

A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WHO HAS EVER LOVED A DOG .MY BELOVED MUTT OF 15 YEARS WAS LOST TO THIS ILLNESS LAST YEAR. A FRIEND BROUGHT ME THE BOOK AND I LAUGHED AND CRIED MY WAY THROUGH KNOWING THAT I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE TO GO THROUGH THIS.

This book was pure entertainment and joy for an animal lover like me!! I have passed it around to many of my friends, and we all agree that this book makes you laugh and cry out loud!! It's amazing how a dog can steal your heart and become part of the family. I did not want this book to end!

This is a must read for anyone who has ever owned-or wanted a dog. This is my new favorite book of all time! I laughed so hard I couldn't see the pages and cried so hard that I couldn't see again. It is so well written and down to earth. I felt as I were experiencing every page with the author.

I absolutely loved this book! We bought our first lab as a puppy and so much of this reminded me of our loyal pet. Wonderful sarcasm/wit that you know comes from the writers heart and love for the dog.

The book was great. Ordering it from overstock.com I got it at a very resonable price. I was reaally upset I couldnt give it as a gift though because the jacket on the book was all messed up. It looked like it was used. I would not recomend buying books from overstock.com because they just put ot in the box with the rest of what you order. They don't wrap it or anything and it get messed up from the other products brushing up against it and hitting it.
