The Best of Marie Osmond is a good album to add to the country music shelf for both longtime fans and newer ones. This recording gives you some -- but not all -- of her most popular songs together in one collection, including hits like "There`s No Stopping Your Heart," "Meet Me in Montana," "Read My Lips," and "Think With Your Heart." Take note that the song "Paper Roses" on this release isn`t the original one she did in her early teens in 1973, but a newer version recorded in 1990 just for this album. The only complaint to make about this offering is that it seems a little inadequate for an artist who has been around so long and had so many hits; one would think a few more songs could -- and should -- have been tossed into this Marie Osmond collection of hits, but this is a good start. [Curb reissued the Best of Marie Osmond in 2008 as Dancing With The Best Of Marie Osmond in order to capitalize on her appearance on ABC`s popular reality show, Dancing with the Stars.
