This book is a very good introduction to all the techniques (carving, routing, sandblasting, etc) used to make wood signs. Has great examples, and also tells you what NOT to do - a very important feature for beginning sign-makers. I was especially impressed with the section on outdoor finishes and what to avoid.
Full of useful information for the beginner. I just retired and purchased a scroll saw and router. I'm a real beginner when it comes to working with wood. Thanks for the helpful information.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in woodworking. It has given me so many ideas for gifts and for sales. The written instructions and photos make it easy to follow. I am very pleased with the purchase.
