Simple process easily learned to challenge one's routine self defeating thought process. To argue with reality is to lose 100% of the time, so face what is. I first watched a short online video of her helping people talk through problems which kick started my ability to use the thought analysis process. I was able to reap huge benefits within a couple hours, i.e. change habit to argue "my side" or blame a situation or person for my unhappiness into an ability to reverse my mental projections and find a deeper truth which results in a calming effect that is quite shocking. For the brave and those who want to learn to love deeply, it works. I expected to find the FLAW in her theory and instead found her work changing my life hourly. It is well written, easy to follow, the stories are funny, the way is light. Emergency help for personal relationships, long time help for dealing with Life. Yes, it is that simple.
Reality...stresses...life's challenges; all are dealt with in a 4-step process which guides one to acknowledge reality and leave behind the detrimental "thoughts or stories" one has been living over and over again . It is a very powerful technique clearly presented.

This is a great book to get, along with Ruiz' FOUR AGREEMENTS. Byron Katie turned her life around in one of those classic 'breakdown-as-breakthrough' experiences that some call shamanic healing crises. Perhaps she even became enlightened. She created four questions, and several others actually as well, for readers to evaluate their crises and issues, to defuse upset and eliminate the thinking errors that can spiral into anger, depression, fear, and inability to get along with others. This book can change your life.
