This is one of my favorite Black Dagger Brothehood books. You genuinely feel for Zsadist. The dialog between him and Bella is great. The story is non stop and makes you want to, make that have to, finish the book. You have just got to know what happens next.

I love this author and if you are in to the vampire genre then this is a series for you. This is the third book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and it is another great one by J.R. Ward. It is possible to read the books by themselves and not in order but the timeline and story flows better if you do so. " A former blood slave, the vampire Zsadist still bears the scars from a past filled with suffering and humiliation. Renowned for his unquenchable fury and sinister deeds, he is a savage feared by humans and vampires alike. Anger is his only companion and terror his only passion- until he rescues a beautiful female from the evil Lessening Society. Bella is instantly entranced by the seething power Zsadist possesses. This book has a really tortured hero and is reminicent of Born in sin by Kinley McGregor and Dance with the devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I loved it and recommend this series to anyone that I know that loves this genre.

This is book three in what I would call a series. You must read the first two to understand who the characters are in this book. Imagine a world of men like these ladies and you cannot wait to find your own. I read this book in about 4 hours, I just could not put it down. Everything that happens is not always good but you can't wait to find out how it will end. JRW makes you want to read the next book to find out how the characters are shaping up. These books are well worth the wait.

This book is worth reading. J.R.Ward's whole Vampire Series is great and I can"t wait for the next book to come out.
