After the last one, I was a little nervous that the stories were getting a bit redundant . . . but NO! This was great! I truly fell in love with the character "Rhev" and his nurse love interest. Great ending and I am waiting for the next one! Thank you for another great read.

This is one of the best "Black Dagger Brotherhood" Books by J. R. Ward. Actually, all of them are FABULOUS. I have read all of the series. This author is incredibly talented. These books aren't thin. They are very long and very involved, and the entire time you are reading, you are spellbound and on the edge of your chair. This author has a knack for keeping you in suspense, as well as stirring the blood with her wonderful, sensuous love scenes, and her incredibly descriptive fight scenes. The imagination it takes to create such a work comes from sheer genius. I, for one, am totally thankful for her hard work and for her sharing her immense talent with us. I will be buying every piece of work she puts out. I have already started on her new series, but hope she continues the BDB series. As one who was never really interested in Vampire Books, J. R. Ward has me HOOKED. Give her books a read. If you enjoy the early Anne Rice genre of her Vampire Chronicles, you'll LOVE the Black Dagger Brotherhood. In Addition, Overstock ALWAYS ships extremely fast. I usually get my orders within a few days, rather than the time limit they extend themselves. A nice perk when you are expecting to have to wait another 3-7 days and get it in 1-3 days. Their return policy is unmatched, although I have always been so pleased with my purchases I've only had to return one item because it didn't work for my room scheme. In summation, I can't say enough flattering words to express how please I am with Overstock and with te J. R. Ward books, except to say that I will continue to be an "Overstock" customer as long as they are around, and will look for my items there before looking anywhere else online.
