It's easier with just the wii remote. We don't really use them that much.

my kids love using this with almost any game that includes shooting, It's very easy for them to handle, even my 7year old, I like that its so light. I couldnt believe how little it cost, we've paid more on other guns that didnt work with half the games.

I bought this gun because I didn't want to pay $15-$20 for other gun controllers. These are a very simple plastic design. They work great. They hold both the remote securely and the numchuck securely. The only problem I have had, and this has to do with the game not the controller, is that depending on the button assignment your "trigger finger" may be the one at the front of the gun and not the one that goes into the "trigger area" of this controller. If only the game would let me re-assign buttons all would be well. I would recommend this gun to anyone.
