My son did not play t-ball and then at 8 years old decided that he wanted to play "Fall Ball." Fall Ball is about learning the basics but all the kids on his team were already well versed on the game. My kid didn't even know where Short Stop was on the field. :( I got him this book out of desperation to help him understand the game (positions, scoring, equipment, etc) and he loved it. The pictures were detailed enough to help him understand the game of Baseball. Highly recommend.
