Great book!
We are 3 months into our first home, and starting to get a feel for what is in our yard and home. Not a great time of year to plant in this 'part of the woods', but a great time to start planning for next year and get a compost pile going. Husband and I have never composted, so I've been looking for a book to guide us. Stumbled across this and its fantastic! Technical and scientific - so the info is great, but its approachable and not just an overload of details that make this seem like more work than its worth! Very happy to have this little gem!

Informative and interesting
I purchased this book because I was buying a compost tumbler, and I wanted to understand how to make the best compost in the shortest time. This book delivers the science of composting in a manner that is very easy to digest. I know that I will be harvesting some black gold in no time!
