This 4-disc career retrospective contains two thirds of their songs, including a few rarities ("Hey Hey What Can I Do," "Traveling Riverside Blues" and "White Summer/Black Mountain Side") for a total of 54 tracks. Digital remastering was done by Jimmy Page and George Marino. All the tracks were personally selected and sequenced by Page along with Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. The box set also contains a deluxe 36-page booklet with essays by Cameron Crowe, Kurt Loder and Robert Palmer, a discography and many color photos. Most of the tracks are remastered from the original master tapes. Awesome
This is for every Led Zeppelin fan out there. It's an amazing all in one. There's not one song on the 4 discs that isn't fantastic. My husband, who grew up with this band and was lucky enough to see them live back in the day, puts disc 1 on when he gets home on Friday, after a long week at work, and most times, doesn't hit the sack until the final song on the 4th disc has played. Our 2 teenage boys love it as well. This is a "must have" for every Led Zeppelin fan out there. It gives new meaning to the phrase "Families who play together stay together".
