Even though I had to watch this in subtitles, this movie is just plain fun from beginning to end. Well written with a wonderful cast, the storytelling of this Mexican fable is pure entertainment for those who enjoy comedy romance!

It is hard to find Spanish cinema but 'Como Agua Para Chocolates' is one of those rare, incredible movies that plenty of Latinas can comprehend. Traditions and domineering mothers are not new to our lives, more so when they prohibit what we can and can't do. I highly recommend this movie to all which would like to know what Mexican/Spanish Cinema is all about. Different and captivating.

Love the movie! I have always wanted this movie on DVD. Overstock has not disappionted me yet!!

i love this movie. it has romance, a love triangle, and best of all it has subtitles. this is one of the best romance movies ever!

I found the title intriguing and the brief summary interesting. The interesting stuff ended with the cover.
The movie is a weird conglomeration of troubled characters, a totally unbelievable storyline and no depth.
I wouldnt recommend this movie. As a value It faired a little better in my ratings. Thats only because the price was low and not enough to make me mad that I paid so much for so little. Overstock has great choices in movies but maybe poor taste (in this instance) for picking them.
