Last Exile - Complete Series (DVD)

Last Exile is one of the best animes out there, for the direction, the animation (the color usage is fantastic), the character development, the music (a bit beyond the usual j-pop). The steampunk setup is well managed, the universe will certainly leave doors open to other series based on it. In summary and without giving away the plot, the series is highly recommended, and the slim case in this edition of Geneon is very welcome. You only get the disks, as oppossed to the mousepad and the little figurine that you would get with the limited edition box that you can purchase with the first disk, but the space saved in your shelf and in your pocket will help you forget about those. If you're hunting for good anime and haven't heard from Last Exile, give it a try.
