Lament for a Son
Someone gave me a copy of this book several years after my 18-year-old (and only) son was killed in an accident. Out of a dozen or so grief books I've read, this is one of two I constantly recommend to others and use in a support group for bereaved parents that I facilitate. The author writes so poignantly and so "real" - and it is easy to relate your own feelings of grief and loss to his. I recently purchased two copies to give to coworkers who lost adult children and the book has been of great value to them.

Lament for a Son
I read this book six months ,after I lost my young son. The book helped me and my husband because the author described exactly what we couldn't put into words. Easy to read and articulate. I recently ordered it for another family that lost their child.. I've always been grateful to the author and hope he has found peace with his loss ,as I have ,somewhat, been able to do .
