Got it for a young boy - to help understand the age gap with the older generation

During the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia, a gifted musician struggles to make a living. Poverty induces him to enter a "marriage" on paper only, and because of a series of unexpected events, he is left with a five-year-old Russian boy to raise. Tender story of love and transformation. Beautiful. Czech with subtitles. He's a bit of a womanizer, so there are some bed scenes (mostly a little nudity). No violence.
