An all star cast is just the beginning in this wonderful new entry into the American Girls movie files. As always, the time in USA history is very accurately portrayed. There is a mystery to solve, prejudges to overcome, and victory to be had. The only caution I would give is that there is sadness and fear when families are losing their homes. Those scenes might be unsettling for small children. Preview it first. For school age kids, it is another winner with LOTS of opportunities to talk with your kids and TONS of research to be done to satisfy their curiosity. The similarities to our country's circumstances in 2008 were shocking and eye opening for my teenage boys who watched "with their little nieces" to save face with their peers. LOL! We've talked for days about what they saw and projected into our present world. Suddenly, they are GLAD we have chickens! Thank you, Kit!

Was looking forward to this movie as Kitt is my granddaughters favorite American Girl. Was pleased with the movie ,all enjoyed seeing it.Makes a oerfect gift for families.
