The gimmick behind IKONS is that the four discs are divided into 14 track sets sung by each member respectively. Disc 1 features blood-spewing tongue lord Gene Simmons, and includes standards like the hard-rock anthem "Rock and Roll All Nite" and primitive come-on "Calling Dr. Love." Disc 2 belongs to pretty-boy Paul Stanley and ends with his possible career zenith, "I Was Made for Lovin` You," their "disco" song. Disc 3 belongs to guitar god Ace Frehley and encompasses hard-hitting "Snow Blind" and "Rip It Out." Disc 4 is drummer Peter Criss`s, featuring his smash power ballad, "Beth," and the sleazy hooker jam, "Black Diamond."
