BRILLIANT work!! For anyone who loves the beauty of this great nation and wants to enjoy it without having to leave home...this series is a MUST HAVE!!! The photos & commentary are fascinating. Ken Burns National Parks: America's Best Idea
I have seen excerpts on PBS and have always enjoyed anything done by Ken Burns. I purchased this as a gift for my 90yr old father. He has traveled to many of these parks, as have I, before they were so popular. I hope this will bring fond memories to him as he watches. He is no longer able to travel as he once did, but can certainly enjoy seeing many of the places he has visited. Thank you Ken Burns.

If you are a lover of the National Park System, this is a must-have item. The interviews, the film footage, the organization of the material makes this a collector's item for anyone who visits our National Parks.We saw part of the series on PBS and kept saying, "We need to buy this!" We're glad we did!
