A true adventure
Ken Burns has long been a favorite with me. His way of portrayal is supurb. He truly gets into his stories and this is among his best. The restored prints and their stories carry the entire story. It is a History of the National Parks System that should not be missed. So much can be learned by viewing this fine essay. Highly recommended to all who take interest in a bit of American history. You will enjoy this fine work of true art. If I could give it 6 stars, i would , as it is worth it in every way.

A must have it in your collection. history, with a story. wild life, the mistakes we have made in the parks and the why we made and need the National Parks.

Great in Blu-Ray
I haven't actually seen this, as I gave it to my father this past Christmas. However, both he and my mother have enjoyed watching it, saying that the video is absolutely beautiful. I know that their neighbors have come over to watch it with them, as well. Would recommend.
