AS AN ABANDONED CHILD RAISED BY HER GRANDPARENTS, HER SONGS OFTEN PAY TRIBUTE TO HER GRANDPARENTS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON HER LIFE. A FINE SONGWRITER TO BE SO YOUNG, HER BIOGRAPHICAL SONG "I WONDER" WHICH POURS OUT HER THOUGHTS TO HER DISTANT AND UNKNOWN BIOLOGICAL MOTHER IS QUITE TOUCHING, YET WITHOUT THE BITTERNESS ONE MIGHT EXPECT. THE MELODY IS VERY CATCHY AS WELL AS ARE SEVERAL OTHERS ON THE ALBUM.

A pleasant surprise seeing as she almost made a name for herself by being just a little ditsey. The music was a treat and I am pleased with the overall albums contents.

"Wow" I would not have expected this kind of talent from Kellie. I thought that she would be too twangy. She certainly suprised me. My husband asked me to put it on his Ipod as well because he enjoyed it also. Good going Kellie.

I was pleasantly surprised! A friend had given this a lukewarm review, but I loved it. Kelly has put together some very personal lyrics and mind-sticking melodies. I was amazed to see no other writing credits, so I assume all the tunes are her own. Way to go, Kelly. You have more talent than we expected from a small town girl!
