The original was and still is great - But, this one is different enough to hold the interest. Great special effects and a terrific story-line make this one a must have for your collection! Brendan Fraser is superb in this!

The movie itself is very good. theonly thing that if you don't have a room theather (dark room) you cannot appreciate the 3D effects as much. Overall I would recommend it to everybody, my kids and friends had fun.!! Anyway Overstock is one of the best valuable places to buy from!!!!
I rented the movie first to see if I would like it and I bet it is even better in 3D. I watched it in 2D and the objects on the screen jumped out at me. Shipping took awhile but it did say 2 weeks or more for it to get to me, so no complaints, just a warning to get your DVD's now or risk not having them for Christmas
