The style choice plays well to Sparks`s impressive vocal range and power, even when she doesn`t invest much soul or personal flair in her performances. Despite its shortcomings, JORDIN SPARKS should still please fans who followed the singer`s success on AMERICAN IDOL.

If you watched American Idol the year Jordan won, you know what a lovely voice she has. This album does not let you down. Usually the first time I hear a song it takes me a while to really like it a lot, but all the unfamiliar songs show-cased her voice, and I liked them right away. I really thought it was a great album!
