Whew, this is an all star jam. Coltrane, Mobley, Lee Morgan. This is one of those finds from a lesser known jazz guy. Griffin was an underrated sax player but this is a blistering set. Art Blakey also contributes some stellar drumming. The highlight is the original and alternate take for the blues based "Smokestack". This is an essential for the serious jazz fan.
