Fuel `s Collector`s Edition is simply the repackaging of two albums that bear John Lee Hooker`s venerable name. First is Cream, recorded in 1977 and originally released on LP by Tomato. It was a double album -- and is preserved that way in CD format -- featuring "the Hook" with his band the Coast to Coast Blues Band performing at the Keystone. The other disc in this collection was split album called Blue on Blues featuring Hooker on one side and Lightnin` Hopkins on the other. The Hopkins session was recorded in 1969, and Hooker`s in the early `70s. It has already been issued by Fuel once on CD. ~ Thom Jurek
