It took me a couple of times to listen to this CD. I finally had a chance to get my groove going while listening to this CD by myself. This CD is one of my favorites now. I love the song "Magnificent" which was sampled from old school hip hop artist Special Ed. This is the type of CD that can get you moving and feeling good. Don't expect this CD to be like Jill's first CD "Who is Jill Scott?" - it's totally different but shows you just how diverse and talented Jill is. I highly recommend. Happy listening!

I have purchased CD's from overstock in the past and they have been great. However this particular CD is not playing well in my car but plays just fine on my laptop. I experienced this once before with another cd a friend gave me. I will not say the cd is faulty but if you have a 2004 GMC Envoy you may have the same problem

I am a huge fan of Jill Scott and she did not disappoint on this CD. It is a combination of all the things I love about her, the lush vocals, word play, and attention to detail. It is a great summer CD.
