I really enjoy the Jesse Stone movies. Tom Selleck is great! I had preciously seen a few of the movies on TV. I now have the whole series and can watch them in order.

Rating a DVD involves two elements: the customer service and the product itself. First, I am amazed at how quickly I am able to order and receive items from Overstock.com. Second, like the other Jesse Stone telefilms, Night Passage is excellent. Whether you read Robert B. Parker?s novels or not, you will enjoy this prequel to Stone Cold. Of course, watching Tom Selleck is always a bonus. He portrays the brooding police chief of a small New England town called Paradise, obviously a misnomer given all the crimes he has to solve. Jesse Stone movies are in the film noir tradition so can be a little depressing, but I love the aura of mystery, compelling plots, and interesting characters. I own all five in the series and can't wait for the 2010 release of "No Remorse."

Another great movie starring Tom Selleck. We've enjoyed all the movies in this series. I would consider this adult entertainment, too serious for kids.
