Sydney Pollack directs this notable picturesque film in which a solitary man named Jeremiah Johnson (Robert Redford) battles ruthless Indians, who use him as the target of a long-awaited vendetta, and the merciless elements of nature, in search of peace. Set in the mid-19th century, after the Civil War, the film centers on Jeremiah as he becomes disillusioned with the ways of his civilization and the ravages of war, and he sets out determined to survive in the Rocky Mountain wilderness by himself.

Jeremiah Johnson DVD
This movie is very good. The scenery is fantastic and the storyline is based on an actual event which makes the movie that much more interesting. Somewhat slow, but worth watching. As usual, overstock shipped this item very fast and at a low cost.

Robert Redford
This is my favorite Robert Redford movie of all times. My order arrived quickly and in good condition. The recording was of good quality, I have recieve some that were not so good but this one was great. Buy it now and get lost in the Rockies.

A classic movie. All the ingredients for a great new frontier classic, Indians, Buffalo, and dried meat. A great Saturday afternoon classic.
