My review focuses on the 70-minute "Complete Workout." This starts with 20 minutes of warm-up/stretching/upper body toning, followed by 35 minutes of aerobic, and 15 mins of lower body toning/cool-down. The toning exercises are all pretty typical -- arm swings, crunches, push-ups, lunges. One nice thing about the aerobic part is that there are 2 leaders, one going higher intensity and one lower. (The higher intensity girl just jumps a lot more while the lower intensity girl walks more). The aerobic part is fun -- their outfits SCREAM 80's, but that's ok I guess. :-) They try to throw in some dance moves from several different genres of music. A little cheesy, but fun. It is certainly a great workout once you get the steps down. I wouldn't agree with others who say "so much fun you don't know you're working out," but all-in-all, it's a good video. If you're looking for something contemporary though, you won't find it here! This is a pretty typical workout, so if you're looking for something *extra* challenging, I'd get something else.
These are two of my all time favorite Jane Fonda videos. The first is 'Light Aerobics and Stress Reduction' which is great if you just want to do some easy to follow aerobics, you can do this with or without the last segment (stretching). The 'Complete Workout' is also great because you can break it up into an arm, leg, abs, or aerobics workout or combine the whole thing for 70 minutes. A great value for the price since you get 2 workouts that you can break into smaller workouts to fit your schedule.
This is a great video, has very good low impact aerobics. Very nice to exercise with.
It's nice to see that not only has Ms. Fonda put out some of her exercise vids. onto DVD but they are available through Overstock. My vid. copy was getting pretty worn. Just wish that Overstock would have more variety. That and Ms. Fonda should put out more of her items onto DVD.
Jane's workout tape is a reat aerobic workout. It offers high and low aerobics, so that people of different skill levels can use it. My doctor wanted me to do aerobic exercises, and being faraway from a gym this was the best option for me.
I find this workout very easy to follow which plays a big roll in my staying motivated. I had recently gained quite a bit of weight due to medication that I was taking and had become very sluggish w/ absolutely no stamina. I started w/ the low impact version and have worked my way into the high impact version. I couldn't be more pleased. Also, Overstock.com got the product to me in 8 days. That is including Sunday's.
