too complicated
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old (almost 3) because she tries to avoid bowel movements, then of course it DOES hurt when she finally can't hold it anymore. This book sounded like something that could help her, but it's too complicated for her age/developmental stage. The child in the story goes to the doctor, where the doctor tells HIM a story.....just too much for my little one's attention span. Also, the description of how bowel movements are made got too complicated for her, with stomach and intestines....she's so little she only sort of understands that food goes from her mouth to her tummy. I guess I'l just save it for when she's a little older in case she still needs it, maybe it can still be useful.

a bit long
I purchased this for my son who starting off potty training well but then became afraid to go #2 on the toilet. The book is rather long and although a book lover, he loses interest in this one before we finish. Neat idea but not executed the best.
